Banqueting House

This project formed part of a scope of works to design a building wrap and allow essential conservation work to be carried out whilst keeping the building open to the public. Mel designed and animated these films which were projected onto stretched canvasses within the window alcoves of the Great Hall, to highlight the stories of the Stuart Kings and their relationship with the building. The creativity and mark making of Inigo Jones was referenced and connected with the exterior building wrap where a trompe l’oeil illusion allowed passers-by to peer inside the building.
